Practical Task & Project Management

Our training program goes beyond the classical understanding of project management training and emphasizes the management of the HR side, in addition to the classical tools of planning and implementation.
Participants can bring their own topics to our practise-oriented Project Management training, so that our training also serves as a consultancy programme

According to a survey by the German Project Management Institute, 80% of project failures are caused by a lack of planning and management of human factors.

Our programme therefore goes beyond the classic concept of project management training and emphasises the management of the human factor in addition to the classic tools of planning and implementation.

The aim of the training

Participants will work on pilot/sample projects from their own lives, so that at the end of the two-day training they will not only go home with a finalised project plan, but have added the communication channels and content to each design element to achieve project commitment.

Our Practical Task & Project Management training covers all relevant topics from planning to implementation

Topics covered in the training

  • Defining project objectives and scope (What to communicate about the project?)
  • Project environment analysis (Developing sponsorship, Establishing communication priorities; Who-what-when in order to develop engagement?)
  • From project structure design to the network design (How to clarify who has what role and responsibility and when?)
  • Resource planning (Realistic planning options; How to avoid agressive pressuring?)
  • Communication planning (How to operate the communication channels)

Competences that we develop:

The ability to approach, structure and implement tasks and projects in a structured way, including the ability to manage human and technical factors simultaneously.

We offer our training to all project managers wanting to improve, from beginners to experienced project managers

Who is the course recommended for?

For all those who want to carry out their more complex tasks and projects more efficiently and acquire the methodological knowledge to ensure success on both the human and technical side. (Project management experience is not a prerequisite for participation in the programme.)
