What am I doing?
I have more than 25 years of experience in the field of operational development, gained in leading multinational manufacturing companies that have always placed great emphasis on applying state-of-the-art methods in both their production technology and their operational and support processes, while continuously improving and leading the way.
My main areas of expertise are process design and process improvement.
Including:
– Continuous Improvement Process (CIP/Kaizen);
– Six sigma/Lean/REFA tools;
– Material flow/layout design using computational/simulation tools;
– design of data-driven operations.
How do I do all this?
I’ve worked as a production manager, Six sigma black belt, senior operations consultant, led a major investment project and as a logistics manager responsible for warehousing and material supply for production.
These varied tasks build on each other and provide the wide range of professional experience that I strive to pass on.
I encourage everyone not to think about why something cannot be implemented, but how to solve the problem, and to do so at the root level, in order to find a real/feasible solution. This also requires that decisions are based on real data and analysis of that data, not impressions/feelings.
In addition to this, I always place great emphasis on coordinating the activities of the different departments (e.g. production and logistics/maintenance). Separate departments
