MAIN PRINCIPLES OF THE PROGRAMME

We provide participants with foundation stones consisting of knowledge elements, feedback, self-development experiences, and latest leadership development know-hows.

Participants put together their preferred methods and approaches based on what they have seen so far. They build up their leadership skills that also creates value add for not only their organisation but for themselves too.

MY PERSONAL VALUES AND ORGANISATION VALUES IN LEADERSHIP

Finding our set of values that range between non-flexible personal characteristics and easily changeable behaviours. These influence our everyday way of working in a robust and hidden manner. The values driving us are often hidden from us, especially in our young years. To become mature in our leadership, it is vital to shed light on these sets of values; it’s also vital to understand how they influence our behaviour time and again. We support our participants in this journey with a group navigation process.

TRAINING OF PERSONAL INSPIRATION

Performance and motivation systems are important in an organisation, yet they can never be as important as the impact a good leader can make. It is only an inspiring leader who is capable of engaging today’s free-spirited knowledge workers to stand still with a concept, objective or company. This is a competence that can and need to be trained and developed – the old times are gone saying “you need to be born to do that”. Throughout the programme, we turn upside down the concept and understanding of motivation. Based on this experience, participants draw up their inspiring messages. These will become their characteristic features, and will be able to practice them as well.

HANDLING LEADERSHIP AND POWER; MY RESOURCES AND JEOPARDY

As young leaders, it often happens that with the lack of life experience these set of values are not there yet when they land in a leading role. They are not yet consciously aware of their intrinsic capacities as leaders. Often, they don’t even have much experience as employees, not to mention their leadership experiences.
During the programme, they get knowledge and feedback on what sources of power there is for them to use. They also get knowledge transfer and feedback on the consequences towards their respective attitudes with direct reports.

HOW DOES MY ENVIRONMENT PERCIEVE ME? FEEDBACK FROM ALL WHO COUNTS

The most important information for a leader is about the impact they make through their behaviour, personality character and style. These types of feedback are not that easy to receive: employees are usually careful, and honesty is not always there.
Throughout the programme, information is surfacing and is being processed through conversation, personality tests, 360° degree evaluations, facilitator methods, and 1on1 consultation.

WHAT IS THE VALUE ADD IN THIS ROLE THAT IS REALLY BEING PAID FOR?

What is the value add in the leader role that is really being paid for? We support participants in finding their own focus and strength in this process. Based on our experience, it is not possible to isolate management layers. Our approach is to involve all management systems to create and shape management in an organisation.
