CHALLENGES AS PROJECT LEADERS

  • Uncommon project type, hence no practice in it
  • A new plant must be built, or a new factory must be established, an existing manufacturing unit must be transformed. Consequently, each phase of the given project converts from an operative project into an investment project and processes become ever more complex.
  • There is no feasibility study mutually conceived by the transmitter and recipient.
  • Because of outdated data in the documentation, there is no technical compliance, quality issues emerge in products, and it is very difficult to trace the root causes for this phenomenon.
  • It is not clarified which units and jobs will have which role in the process.
  • The employees concerned do not have specific job descriptions about product transfer and plant transfer; consequently, it is not defined what tasks they are responsible for and what competences are needed in these processes.

Throughout the plant transfer and product transfer consultation, using a complex methodological approach, we prepare project leads and team members for handling projects.

  • Through our facilitation, we continuously focus the project in the organisation, thus strengthening the priorities of the project in the framework of the organisation
  • We help stakeholders engage in the project; and through situational exercises, we help in the preparation for project meetings and one-to-one sessions
  • We support the project lead in the usage of ‘Scale methodology’. This helps him balance and focus results and procedural goals in meetings
  • We are also involving our Lean consultants, who help with the operational efficiency of new plants, or plants that need to be transformed
