Trainer, consultant
I have a deep conviction that conflicts between people, problems within organizations and groups result from a lack of awareness. I experience this in private life, and I experience this in the field of work as well.
We do not see what we do, how we do it, and what the consequences are. We observe the tasks, but we do not really understand the proper ways. We struggle and become entangled with others because our perspective remains at a low level and we believe what our defensive mechanisms imply as a result of these collisions. Which only leads us apart from each other, not towards, which leads to the decline of results, rather than to synergy. Towards isolation rather than openness, which is the key to viability on both the organizational and the individual level.
What I experience in my work is that the first real step towards achieving results, a happier, more successful operation, is the awakening to what we really do, and what we should do instead. When instead of our automatisms, the space of consciousness appears in our deeds, our communication, our cooperation systems, our actions. It is an eternal motivation to be involved in these processes, and despite the understanding, every individual / organizational situation is always different, thus, this activity can always be fresh for me. I can never get bored of accompanying the awakenings and help those recover who want to move on on their own feet instead of the previous fixed-track moving walkway that ran in circles.
I believe that awakening is possible, and that afterwards everyone can be taught to the self-conscious, watchful operation, and that this is actually our task.
I believe in the so-called “crazy wisdom”. In that whether it is organizations, teams or individuals, it is always the given actors, situation, environment and the expectation cloud that determines what and how to do – sometimes gently, sometimes even radically. I believe that potential, adaptability stemming from understanding and inner faith need to be built, real responsiveness to the challenges, and then we are making real improvements, not just helping out here and there, and after a while, things get stuck without us.
The present needs to be responded to, and I try to find and map the methods to do that, and to pass this approach and knowledge on.
